Skin Booster Treatment
Skin boosters are specially formulated to deliver deep skin hydration. Microinjections of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) are used during the treatment to hydrate your skin and improve its elasticity, firmness, and radiance.
Boosters are versatile treatments that men and women can use regardless of their skin type and age.
Blend Clinic uses Jalupro, PRP and mesotherapy. Three initial treatments are recommended, followed by maintenance treatments once or twice a year.
What is Hyaluronic Acid?
The skin is kept hydrated by HA, which is naturally present in the body. When we get older, the quality of our HA decreases. Skin Boosters are able to replenish and maintain natural hydration from within for months due to the stabilised HA.
Available Skin Booster Treatments
Below are the four main types of skin booster treatments offered by Blend Clinic. You can book your appointment at either our Cheam or Harley Street clinic. Your initial appointment will be for one hour and the price will depend on the level of treatment required for you as an individual. If you would like to discuss the process and an indication of prices, please feel free to get in touch with Amanda.
ACNE & SPOTS
Most people at some point in their lives will have acne, which is a very common skin condition. Acne can appear on both your face and body, and arises when tiny holes in the skin’s surface (known as hair follicles) become clogged with dirt, oil, and other impurities, which are then infected by the normally harmless bacteria that live on the surface of your skin. In both boys and girls, acne is often brought on by an increase in testosterone levels during puberty. Pregnancy, other hormonal changes, certain medications, and certain lifestyle habits can also exacerbate acne. Genetics and hormonal factors can also influence acne.
Acne that is more severe can leave permanent scars. Skin scarring occurs when the skin of a certain area is broken and the body quickly heals the wound by producing an excess of collagen. Collagen is normally broken down by the body over time, but with severe scarring, this does not occur. Acne spots that rupture or burst can leave scars on the surrounding area, especially on the face.
VOLUME LOSS IN THE FACE
When collagen production slows down in the skin, facial volume is lost, resulting in a sagging appearance and loss of facial fat. As a result, fine lines and deeper wrinkles can develop, as can sagging around the jawline. We can add volume and natural collagen production with various treatments and back with nutritional advice.
FAT POCKETS ON THE ARMS, CHIN AND ELSEWHERE
As we age, the upper arms are one of the first places on the body to show the effects of aging, with decreased muscle tone and increased skin laxity. Removal of localised fat, particularly double chins on men and women.
The large pores of the face which can easily become blocked because of the amount of oil they produce. Combining this oil with impurities on the skin’s surface can lead to blackheads, whiteheads, and skin congestion. Pores can become enlarged when they become blocked, as we get older and loose volume and collagen our skin as well as become uneven in texture and tone.
